Local Woman Speaks about Rape by Priest
In a 6 minute story aired by KOB on February 23, Mary Stanton of Albuquerque spoke out about her sexual abuse at the hands of a priest when she was a child. As with many who were abused, the publicity surrounding the death of Robert Sanchez brought back painful memories. Mary's story is one of healing and her hope is that it will inspire others. SNAP commends Mary for her courage and compassion for others in speaking out.
